Lord I’m Yours

Even if my lips fail to persuade,

that won’t diminish 

the Gospel message made, 

Cause Lord, it’s Yours!

At times I may not pay attention

and the Gospel fail to mention. 

But Lord, it’s still Yours!

I may not know the Word as I should, and not be understood,

but Your Word will stand on its own, 

and despite all my flaws

 I cannot hinder Your seed that’s being thrown. 

Cause Lord it’s Yours!

And because it is Yours

even if I’m ineffective in doing it

Your Word will not come back void 

and in time they will pursue it,

Lord, it’s Yours!

So, I’ll purpose to say, and take the opportunity to show the way,

I’ll study to show my self approved 

so the Word I can better use.

Cause Lord I’m Yours!
